2nd open house 9/28/25 HAWAII CONDO–breathtaking AND affordable! Still available 9/20/25

I held an open house in Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii on 9/14/25.  “Open House”/s means the door is open to the public, and everyone is invited in, to take a look, in contemplation of purchase. The property is SO amazing I  want to continue the Sunday 9/14/25 open house by keeping the door open, so to speak, in my blog.

MUST HAVES

This condo checks all the boxes. What does this colloquialism–checks all the boxes– mean? One way of describing something inheriting is to list the object and beneath the object make a lunar of descriptive words about said object. When comparing two or more objects, readers may place a check mark next to each item they like on the lists. The object with the most check marks is the winner. Usually, an object people won’t like every single feature of the thing being described. However, if the item is exceptional, people may put a check mark next to every feature. Thus, the item fully meets their desires/needs and it  “checks all the boxes.”

It means , when you look at a list of adjectives used to describe som and you see something you like, you tend to put a check mark next to that item. When people say something “checks all the boxes,” they mean the item about which they speak, has so many desirable qualities, that if these qualities were put on paper,  there’d be a check mark next to every individual feature, thus, fully satisfying the speaker.

Here is a long list of features that describe 98-288 Kaonohi Street

  • Amazing view
  • Convenient location
  • Cable/wifi included and the technology is the latest version
  • Soundproof unit
  • 2 bedrooms, with wraparound windows that showcase the view over Pearl Harbor and beyond.
  • 2 covered parking spaces
  • Impeccable maintenance–you can tell a lot when the fire exits are spotless
  • Secure–you need the key fob to go to your floor in the elevator and you can only go to your floor.  Ever-present onsite management /security keep watchful eyes on the cameras. This vigilance discourages trespassers. There are no random people “tailgating” or following residents in to hop on the elevator headed for some unknown floor.
  • Pool, 8 feet deep on one end, gym, and sauna.
  • Pet friendly.

See what I mean about checking all the boxes?  It is the view that will blow you away from the 38th floor.  And it is still available.

Behaviors are “Contagious”

We do what the people around us do.  We accept what yhe group finds acceptable.  We notice the difference in behavior when wr move away from our childhood setting to the first adult residence. We are either excited to share new traits with the folks back home…OR…we vow

Check hats for small life forms before wearing in Hawaii

You feel cute in your hat, and protected from the powerful sun.
If you only think something is crawling on your head, it is not.  When there really are tiny feet on your scalp , you know  it. And–off with the hat!
You take a closer look at the hat, which you flung a couple of feet away.
There is something…
With gratitude you see it is only a gecko.  Or perhaps it is more appropriate to call this creature a tiny chameleon.  It is not a hand-sized cane spider, or a centipede.  The feet had not felt that big, so you were only a bit concerned.

The lesson: in this tropical paradise, before putting a hat on your head, or bringing a flower to your nose, check for life forms. We do not have poisonous animals indigenous to Hawaii, but you could be mighty startled if you fail to look first!
